Use the Quick Builder to personalize either end of your belt with text, a logo, or eligible professor stripes. Review the current fonts, colors, placement limits, and production rules before ordering.
Embroidery Options
Choose text or artwork that can be produced clearly within the available belt area.
Japanese, Korean & Chinese
Japanese, Korean, and Chinese are supported. The optional translation helper can suggest text, but customers should confirm names, spelling, and meaning before ordering.
Logo Embroidery
A first logo order requires a new digitization setup. Reorders can reuse saved digitization after staff verification. Setup and embroidery charges are shown in the builder.
Professor Stripes
Available only for black belts with a red rank bar. Choose no stripes, 0th-degree boundary stripes, or 1st through 7th degree. Any surcharge is shown in the belt builder.
Available Font Styles
Choose Rotterdalle for a distinctive script style or Arial for a clean, highly legible finish. These are the only two font styles currently available.

Recommended for best legibility: up to 13 English characters or 6 Japanese, Korean, or Chinese characters. Longer text is reviewed and may require smaller lettering. Font samples are a visual guide; the appearance of finished stitching may vary slightly.

Placement Standards
Choose the KANJI logo side, the rank-bar side, or both. The usable area is the same for every belt size.
Logo Side
Embroidery begins about 1–1.5 cm from the KANJI logo. Standard area: up to 15 × 2.8 cm. Maximum area: approximately 28 × 3.6 cm.
Rank-Bar Side
Embroidery begins about 1–1.5 cm from the rank bar, with an additional 0.7–1 cm reserved for promotion stripes. Maximum area: approximately 28 × 3.6 cm.
Direction & Production Rules
Text can be embroidered on the logo side, rank-bar side, or both. Orientation is adjusted by language and placement so the finished embroidery reads correctly.
English — Logo Side
English runs horizontally from left to right, with the phrase leading toward the KANJI logo.
CJK — Both Sides
Japanese, Korean, and Chinese normally run vertically from top to bottom toward the logo or rank bar.

Choose new digitization for a first logo order, or select a saved logo setup for a reorder. Saved setups are verified before production.
Translation Helper
The builder can suggest Japanese, Korean, or Chinese text. Review the suggested translation carefully because the submitted text is used for production.

For the clearest result, keep English to 13 characters or fewer and CJK text to 6 characters or fewer.

Embroidery FAQ
Can I embroider both ends of the belt?
Yes. The logo side and rank-bar side can both be embroidered. Each side is positioned and embroidered separately.
Which fonts and thread colors are available?
Choose either Rotterdalle or Arial. Available thread colors are gold, black, white, and red. Other fonts and thread colors are not currently offered.
How many characters can I use?
For reliable legibility, we recommend up to 13 English characters or up to 6 Japanese, Korean, or Chinese characters. Longer text may be possible, but the character size must be reduced and part of the design may be less visible when the belt is tied.
How much space is available for embroidery?
The usual embroidery area is up to 15 × 2.8 cm on either side. The maximum production area is approximately 28 × 3.6 cm. These limits are the same across belt sizes.
Which direction will the text face?
On the logo side, English runs horizontally from left to right toward the logo. On the rank-bar side, the English orientation is reversed so the phrase ends nearest the bar. Japanese, Korean, and Chinese normally run vertically from top to bottom on both sides.
Can I add professor stripes?
Yes, on black belts with a red rank bar only. Select no professor stripes, 0th-degree boundary stripes, or 1st through 7th degree in the belt builder. The displayed surcharge is added to the order when applicable.
How does logo digitization work?
For a first logo order, choose new digitization and upload clear artwork. For a reorder, choose an existing saved setup. Staff verifies saved setups before production, and all applicable charges are shown in the belt builder.
Will I receive a proof before production?
A proof is not normally issued for standard belt embroidery. If a special request needs adjustment or confirmation, we will send a layout preview before production.
Can I return a customized belt?
Customized belts usually cannot be returned unless the item is defective or the customization does not match confirmed order details.
